Prof. Dr. Oliver G. Schmidt, holder of the Chair for Material Systems, Nanoelectronics at the Technical University of Chemnitz and Director of the Institute for Integrative Nanoscience at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research in Dresden, will receive the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize (2.5 million Euro). This was announced by the German Research Foundation (DFG) in Bonn on 14 December, 2017.
